Orlagh Reid is a qualified professional Personal & Business Coach, Counselling Psychotherapist, Clinical Sexology Psychotherapist, Addiction and Recovery Counsellor and Fertility Counsellor located in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland. She is also a health, positive psychology and wellbeing writer. 

Her private practice is primarily online providing online therapy and coaching to clients in Ireland and worldwide. She has been an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (IACP) since 2015. A full list of training credentials is available below. Orlagh provides face to face clinic for Women’s health and Private Coaching twice a week from Naas, Kildare.


Orlagh qualified as a professional Life and Business Coach, Counsellor & Psychotherapist in Ireland in 2009. She holds professional qualifications in Clinical Sexology, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Infertility Counselling, Sexual Health Promotion Facilitation Training, Addiction Assessment and Intervention, Couples & Addiction Recovery, Sexual Addiction, Anger Management, Group Facilitation and Treating PTSD and Infidelity. Her Degree thesis in 2011 was entitled ‘Sex Addiction Treatment and Intervention in an Irish Context.’ Orlagh has a special interest in working in women’s sexual health.

Orlagh provides Life and Business Coaching and confidential, compassionate and integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy to men and women over 23 years of age. She promotes celebrating individuality, diversity, inclusivity, sexuality, spirituality and disability. Orlagh is the mother of two children and is a proud special needs parent. Before the transition to full time private practice Orlagh had over fifteen years experience working within large multinational corporations and was the National Clinical Co-Ordinator for Irelands largest EAP Workplace Counselling provider until 2015.

Prior to qualifying as a professional Psychotherapist, she trained extensively in Complementary Health Therapy and holds four Diplomas in the field with specialist training in pregnancy, fertility and cancer care. Orlagh is a registered Reflexologist with the N.R.R.I. She no longer practices as a Complementary Health Therapist since 2020 but brings her knowledge and experience into sessions with clients. 


I have special interest in a number of areas including women’s health, sexology, vaginismus, sexual recovery,  wellbeing and recovery. I am a strong advocate for Women’s Aid, protecting women from violence and domestic abuse and keeping young people safe online.  Visit my blog for related articles. 

Orlagh is a mother of who children and has a special interest in supporting the wellbeing of mothers and those with children with special needs, as a special needs mother herself for over 7 years. She has lived abroad for over two years and travelled extensively around the world.
