A new Irish Sobriety and Alcohol-free Coaching group is coming soon!

As a nation, we are becoming increasingly health conscious! Men and women are making better more health-conscious decisions which positively impact lifestyle, fitness and overall quality of life. This is called positive health and the alcohol-free lifestyle is growing. Keep on reading to find out more about my new Rise and Shine Sober Coaching Online Groups.

A new sober coaching group

For a long time, I have been planning and preparing a new regular online coaching group which combines wellbeing coaching with recovery and sobriety coaching. Coming in September 2024 I will be launching online coaching groups called Rise and Shine – Wake up Sober for people who are choosing a healthier life without alcohol and happier sobriety living.

These short 30/45 minutes online Zoom sessions will be available to book each week. They will have themes and topics to boost motivation, raise your self-awareness, feel empowered and help you stay goal-focused. Similar to the other online groups, I will be welcoming experts and special guests to join the online sessions from to time to share their expertise and experience.

Positive health and choosing alcohol-free

Positive health is growing. People are choosing to cut down and cut out alcohol for a range of reasons as part of a healthier lifestyle. These common reasons for giving up alcohol and going alcohol-free may be for improved fitness, health concerns, fertility reasons, illness, medical conditions, improved mood, sexual function, financial reasons, reduced chronic inflammation, life longevity, better management of stress and general health and wellbeing. Those who are in active and long-term addiction treatment and alcohol recovery may be interested in these sober coaching groups with the approval from their treatment and support team.

You don’t need to be a problem drinker to give up alcohol!

Not everyone who wants and chooses to give up alcohol is a problem drinker. For some, the feeling of just one drink feels unhealthy and creates havoc with the body. Anyone living it a chronic health condition or disease understands that alcohol is challenging and toxic for the body. Or, maybe you are tired of the cycle of drinking and need some support and motivation to change your habits and behaviours. Then this group is for you!

Alcohol Use Disorder in Ireland

On the other hand, problem drinking and harmful drinking particularly for women is a serious problem in Ireland. There are over 600,000 people in Ireland believed to be living harmful alcohol consumption and a degree of alcohol use disorder according to Alcohol Action Ireland. If you are already getting the support of an addiction counselling therapist and are in active alcohol recovery then this sober coaching group may provide you with an additional level of support.
