Finally! After much preparation and planning, I will be hosting and facilitating a new online workgroup for women with vaginismus symptoms and similar sexual disorders. TLC stands for therapeutic, learning and coaching which are the three core elements of the vaginismus support workgroups.
The TLC online workgroups provide therapeutic, learning and coaching support to women with vaginismus symptoms and sexual disorders in Ireland with a qualified clinical sexology psychotherapist, coach and sexual health promotion facilitator.
In this vaginismus series blog article, I am delighted to announce the new online workgroups for women. I understand from my clinical experience and the latest Irish research women largely feel alone and isolated with the condition and my vision is to change that for good. My new TLC online groups are part of a holistic and integrative way to resolve vaginismus symptoms.
The TLC Vaginismus Support Group
These new regular online workgroup classes hosted via ZOOM are for women living with vaginismus and related symptoms and who wish to learn how better to manage and resolve the condition and feel empowered in a supportive small group. Each online workgroup session is 60 minutes in duration with an initial 10 per group. Groups will be supportive, interactive and psychotherapeutic in nature introducing elements of positive psychology and health coaching. They will provide space for sharing, and discussion and a specific focus topic will be on the agenda for each class relevant to the condition of vaginismus and women’s health with special guests from time to time.
The scheduled days for the online meetings is Thursdays at 8.30pm. Start date TBC but the goal is for them to begin December 2023.
