Connect with other women in Ireland with the same shared experiences of vaginismus and vulva pain symptoms as you. We are talking about dating, intimacy, fertility, pleasure, better sex, alleviating symptoms and making sure that you don’t miss crucial regular women’s health medical checkups! In this Vaginismus series blog, I want to share with you some of the support I have created to grow the vaginismus community support in Ireland so that women do not feel alone, isolated and confused about where to turn next.
For over five years and through learning about Dr Maria McEvoy’s research into Irish women’s experiences of living with Vaginismus in Ireland, I have been passionate about raising awareness and support for women with the condition from writing the popular Vaginismus series blog, providing clinical sexology psychotherapy to women and couples with the condition to talking on podcasts and social media.
More recently I have set up the Vaginimsus and Co community online group which is hosted each month on Zoom and a new private Facebook Group so you can interact more often together. This online community and support group also invite special guests to share their insights, and expertise and join in the conversation.
