Join Me for the First Vaginismus Womens Online TLC Group for Ireland

That’s right, the first-ever online group for Irish women experiencing vaginismus-type symptoms, vulvar pain conditions, GPPPD conditions and sexual disorders. Join me this Thursday 30th November 2023 at 8.30 – 9.30 pm on Zoom as I host my first Information and Introduction to the new Women’s TLC online group for women. Register your place here.

I want to create a safe, supportive and psychoeducational coaching space for women to come together, share what they are going through, ask questions, be part of conversations and feel empowered together rather than feel alone and isolated.

Find out more about my weekly Women's TLC Online therapeutic group for vaginismus and sexual pain conditions or visit the events page to book online.

This group is suitable for women in Ireland over the age of 21 who are experiencing the below symptoms and conditions;

  • Open to women who want to overcome low sexual self-esteem, sexual shame, sexual disgust and fear in a safe supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Inability to tolerate or experience penetrative PIV (penis-in-vagina) sex, sexual touch or intimate partner penetration.
  • Fear of penetrative sex, penetration, insertion and intimate touch including fear of sexual intimacy
  • Inability to tolerate or fear of important women’s pelvic and sexual health medical appointments and procedures such as smear tests, IUI insertion, vaginal procedures, and fertility treatments.
  • Primary and secondary vaginismus conditions.
  • Vulvar pain that prevents satisfying intimacy
  • Female sexual disorders

‘I want to create a supportive, therapeutic and empowering space for Irish women with sexual concerns to not only support each other but also learn to support and self-coach themselves whatever stage they are at.’

Join me to find out more about if the Women’s TLC Online group can be a therapeutic, learning and coaching space for you whatever you are experiencing right now. This online group is a pilot project and can be booked and attended as often as you wish on each of the online group dates.

What does TLC stand for?

TLC stands for therapeutic, learning and coaching which are the three core elements of the vaginismus online workgroups I have developed. Each one-hour (approx) online group session hosted via Zoom will be divided into these three elements.

T – The first THERAPEUTIC element will give participants a chance to open up, share and express what they are going through if they feel comfortable doing so and we will discuss the various ways vaginismus symptoms impact women and their lives and how to address these concerns.

L – The middle LEARNING element will focus on a specific topic for the session that is relevant to the condition of vaginismus which will include topics such as – treatment, intervention, management, relationship, libido, female sexual response, sexuality, esteem, dilators, mindfulness, anxiety, fear, pain etc.

C- The COACHING element will introduce positive psychology coaching techniques, and questions, evoke awareness and goal-setting strategies to encourage participants to make the types of changes that feel right for them – right now.

The TLC online workgroups provide therapeutic, learning and coaching support to women with vaginismus symptoms and sexual disorders in Ireland with a qualified clinical sexology psychotherapist, coach and sexual health promotion facilitator.

The Womens TLC Online Workgroup for Vaginismus Symptoms and GPPPD

These new regular online workgroup classes hosted via ZOOM are for women living with vaginismus symptoms, vulvar pain conditions and similar Genito-Pelvic/pain penetration disorders. They are also suitable for women who experience a fear of sexual intimacy and penetration or who have developed vulvar conditions due to menopause, illness or trauma. They are a cost-effective way of accessing regular professional and therapeutic interventions for vaginismus-type symptoms. Each online workgroup session is approximately 60 minutes in duration with a maximum of 10 per group. A minimum of 3 is necessary for each individual session to go ahead.

Groups will be supportive, interactive and psychotherapeutic in nature introducing elements of positive psychology and health coaching. They will provide a safe and respectful space for sharing, and discussion and a specific focus topic will be on the agenda for each class relevant to the condition of vaginismus and women’s health with special guests from time to time. Confidentiality is hugely important for everyone and at the beginning of every online session I will clarify confidentiality and psychological safety terms.
