September is here, and the Hey Gyno! Community is back with Orlagh Reid MIACP
If you are a woman living with vaginismus, sexual pain, vulval pain, GPPPD or another gynae condition affecting your sexual wellbeing, you are invited to join me online this September for an informal evening of connection, conversation, education and support.
After taking a break over the summer, I’m really looking forward to bringing the community back together. Sometimes having a space where you can simply talk, ask questions, share your progress and hear from other women who understand can make a real difference.
Your Top 10 for Better Sexual Wellbeing

Our September Hey Gyno! Community evening will include a mini workshop:
Your Top 10 for Better Sexual Wellbeing
10 things to focus on when living with vaginismus, sexual pain and gyno conditions.
We’ll explore 10 practical areas that can help you feel more informed, confident and in control of your sexual wellbeing. We’ll be talking about things such as pelvic health physiotherapy, psychosexual therapy, femtech, breathwork, mindset, confidence and practical approaches to managing vaginismus and sexual pain.
The aim is not to find one magic solution. Vaginismus and sexual pain can be complex, and different women need different combinations of support. An integrative approach can bring together professional support, education and practical self-care.
There will also be plenty of time for questions, conversation and sharing your experiences and progress.

The Hey Gyno! Community is a women-only online community. You can join from wherever you feel comfortable.
From September, I’m encouraging everyone to keep their camera on for the first half of the evening. This is about gently building confidence, connection and community. You can blur your background and you can turn your camera off if you need to during the session.
You’ll be able to use the chat, audio and reactions throughout the evening, and there will be opportunities to ask questions and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
A minimum of five women is required for each community evening to go ahead, so please book early.
Who is this for?
The Hey Gyno! Community is for women experiencing:
- Vaginismus
- Sexual pain
- Vulval or vulvar pain
- GPPPD
- Sexual anxiety or fear
- Penetration difficulties
- Gynaecological conditions affecting sexual wellbeing
- Difficulties with confidence, intimacy or sexual wellbeing
You do not need to have everything figured out before you join us. Whether you are newly exploring vaginismus support, have been living with symptoms for years, or are already working on your recovery, you are welcome.
Vaginismus Support Ireland
I created the Hey Gyno! Community because women living with vaginismus and vulval pain can feel incredibly alone. There are often so many questions about the body, pelvic floor, sex, relationships, medical appointments, dilators and treatment — yet these conversations are still not happening often enough.
The community is one way of creating a positive, sex-positive and supportive space for women in Ireland and beyond to learn, connect and feel less alone.
